Dejero has unveiled new 5G mobile transmitters, the EnGo 3 and EnGo 3x, alongside a WayPoint 3 receiver, designed to enhance video quality and reliability in broadcast and media production.
New Transmitter Features
The EnGo 3 and EnGo 3x models feature advanced RF and 4x4 MIMO antenna architecture, optimizing 5G connectivity. This design supports a broad range of cellular bands, ensuring superior performance in various regions including the US, Canada, Australia, China, Korea, and Latin America.
These transmitters can handle broadcast-quality video transmission, large file transfers, and high-bandwidth access points for multiple devices. The EnGo 3x model specifically supports up to four fully frame-synced HD feeds, making it ideal for multi-camera sports and live event productions.
EnGo 3x Capabilities
The EnGo 3x transmitter offers multi-camera support, enabling users to transmit in 4K UHD with eight audio channels at low latencies. This feature is particularly valuable for high-definition sports and live event coverage, reducing the need for reshoots by allowing remote teams to monitor lighting and color balance.
EnGo 3 Features
The EnGo 3 model is tailored for newsgathering in areas with extensive 5G network deployment. It provides reliable video transmission and resilient internet access, incorporating AES 256 encryption for enhanced security. Dejero’s Smart Blending Technology combines various wireless networks to improve reliability and bandwidth.
WayPoint 3 Receiver
The WayPoint 3 receiver supports video resolutions up to 4K UHD and can decode HEVC or AVC formats, ensuring high-quality playout. It can output multiple feeds simultaneously, saving space in server rooms and maximizing efficiency.
The receiver includes redundancy features such as RAID protection for hard drives, enhancing uptime and minimizing risk of data loss.
