Digital Alert Systems has released Version 6 software for its DASDEC-III emergency messaging platforms, enhancing system performance and security. The update includes a modernized operating system designed to improve reliability and ensure compliance with evolving standards.

In addition to core infrastructure improvements, Version 6 includes the PLUS Package option for active encoder devices. This package delivers a set of operational enhancements, such as:

  • Expanded audio support, including MP3 and OGG/Vorbis streaming formats.
  • Front-panel audible alerts for immediate operator awareness.
  • Customizable alert messaging, including text and audio adjustments.

The upgrade is available for the DASDEC-III platform but is not mandatory. Customers using earlier models like DASDEC-II or One-Net SEs will continue to receive support for Version 5.4, providing flexibility based on their existing infrastructure.
