A rare and highly sought-after Miller Camera Support tripod has been awarded to a freelance documentary camera operator at AbelCine's 25th anniversary celebration.
Rare Tripod Goes to Good Home
The Miller LP '54 Classic Tripod, hand-built from remaining components left after the last production run of the Light Professional (LP), was auctioned off to Emilie Jackson, a freelance documentary camera operator and commercial second assistant camera. The tripod is one of only 40 ever produced worldwide in honor of Miller's 60th anniversary.

Jackson, who has worked professionally in the industry for five years, expressed her excitement at winning the rare tripod.
