The TriCaster Mini has 8 external video inputs and they work to support any combination of compatible sources in resolutions up to 4K UHD. The TriCaster Mini also has four plug-and-play NDI connections with power-over-Ethernet (PoE), which makes video, audio, tally, power, and control as easy as plugging in an Ethernet cable. This feature saves users time, money and effort. Also included, are two input modules with PoE (power-over-Ethernet) that directly connect a user’s existing HDMI devices. This will instantly upgrade them to NDI-compatible sources.
An exclusive mobile app for the TriCaster Mini is the NDI|HX Camera.
This mobile application is available as a download from the Apple Store. The NDI|HX Camera allows video, up to 4K UHD from an iOS device, which transmits over Wi-Fi as an NDI source and connects with TriCaster Mini systems on the network. This allows for users to pull shots in from their team’s iPhones more easily.
