Dubai, – 30 September 2021 – NINETNINE, the leading provider of content distribution services to cable and OTT platforms, has announced that it has signed a milestone agreement with MBC GROUP, the largest and leading media company in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA).
The multi-year agreement, which begins on 1st October 2021, will see NINETNINE become the exclusive distributor of MBC channels in Europe with TV rights to its linear channels including: MBC1, its general Arabic family entertainment channel; MBC5 targeting north African audiences; MBC DRAMA, broadcasting best Arabic dramas; and MBC MASR, the most successful TV channel in Egypt.
MBC Channels will join Le Bouquet Maghreb, the largest Arabic bouquet of TV channels in Europe, which is distributed over cable, IPTV and OTT platforms. Le Bouquet Maghreb saw record viewing figures during Ramadan 2021. Bringing exceptional content and original productions, the MBC channels will strengthen NINETNINE’s packages with programmesincluding The Voice, Master Chef, Arabs Got Talent, Ramez, Saraya Abdeen and many more highly popular shows that appeal to the entire Arab diasporas living in Europe.
