Paris, 29th September 2021 — Omnilive, digital video software experts, has officially partnered with global media solutions provider Globecast to deliver cross-platform, multi-angle live streaming anywhere, anytime and on any platform or device.
Omnilive is a multi-source, latency-free live streaming video solution that allows its customers to take a different, more engaging approach to streaming content creation. The Omnilive Software-as-as-Service platform delivers multimedia content and multi-camera viewpoints and lets viewers dynamically choose their viewing experience. Omnilive offers unique technology with easy micro-service integration and, combined with Globecast’s renowned level of technical expertise in reliable and agile complex transport situations, this creates a powerful partnership in the live streaming space.
Omnilive’s multi-camera and multi-angle broadcasting technology provides online viewers with a unique experience and when coupled with HLS transcoding and redistribution via Globecast’s CDN services, it ensures unlimited international streaming and audience engagement. This represents a comprehensive integrated service offered by both companies and the partnership also allows customers to better understand their audience and its behaviour via metadata collection. Through this multi-camera and multi-angle technology, the user experience becomes more interactive and engaging.
This partnership has already been put to the test last July when an augmented hybrid livestream (with on-site and digital audiences) was set up at the Vienna Jazz Festival using multi-camera and multi-angle broadcasting.
Yann Madeleine, Sales Director at Globecast said, “We’re pleased to have worked with Omnilive on this festival and now more widely to offer users a unique experience for cultural events and beyond. This jazz festival project was far from being an experiment rather it has now evolved into a service we offer, and we’re proud to have once again proven our reliability and responsiveness when it comes to livestreaming content.”
Omnilive CEO Cyril Zajac stated, “Working with Globecast is the obvious choice to ensure a premium-quality viewer experience with all-important reliability. Having this level of partnership with Globecast is something startups like ours greatly appreciate! Globecast has demonstrated a great deal of agility and this has allowed us to adapt our platform precisely to our customers’ needs.”
