Michael Dolan Named Chairman of ATSC TG1 Technology & Standards Group

WASHINGTON — The Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) today announced that long-time industry expert Michael Dolan has been named Chairman of the association’s Technology and Standards Group 1 (TG1) effective in January.  Dolan assumes the role on Jan. 1, replacing Dr. Richard Chernock, Chief Science Officer of Triveni Digital, whose three-year term as TG1 Chairman expires at year-end.
