PTZOptics announces auto-tracking as a standard feature for all current and new PTZ cameras

PTZOptics has recently announced a new 3rd generation of their top-selling pan, tilt, and zoom (PTZ) cameras called the Move series. The PTZOptics Move camera line will offer built-in auto-tracking capabilities along with 4K capabilities and NDI video outputs. PTZOptics has also announced a new Camera Management Platform (CMP) software which will also allow Gen 2 cameras to gain auto-tracking capabilities. Automatic pan, tilt, and zoom control capabilities are ideal for a wide range of applications in video production, lecture capture, and live streaming.

Introducing PTZOptics Move Series Cameras

“We are excited to announce that auto-tracking will be supported across all of our new and currently shipping PTZ cameras,” says Paul Richards, PTZOptics’s Chief Revenue Officer. “Auto-tracking is an important feature for our customers and we want to take the guesswork out of choosing the correct camera. Our new Move camera lineup includes many of the features our customers have been asking for including support for Blackmagic video switchers which use SDI levels A and B.”

Why Auto-Tracking for live streaming and video production?

PTZ cameras with auto-tracking capabilities are beneficial for live streaming and video production because they provide more seamless and professional-looking production. With auto-tracking, the camera can easily follow a subject around the frame, which keeps the viewer’s attention focused on the action. This is especially important for live streaming, where you want to make sure that your viewers are engaged throughout the entire broadcast.

Additionally, PTZ cameras with auto-tracking capabilities can be used for video productions such as corporate videos, training videos, and marketing videos. By being able to easily track the action, you can ensure that your viewers see all of the important details in the video. This can help to create a more professional and polished look for your production.

Auto-tracking PTZ cameras have quickly become a popular choice for video production teams due to their ability to improve the quality and efficiency of video production. PTZOptics’ new Move series offers built-in auto-tracking capabilities, which allows the camera to follow and keep track of a subject automatically. This eliminates the need for a dedicated camera operator, which can save video production teams time and money. Additionally, the 4K resolution and NDI video outputs of the Move series cameras ensure high-quality video footage.

PTZOptics Move cameras were shown at the 2022 International Broadcast Conference (IBC) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Details about the PTZOptics Move cameras line are available at PTZOptics.com. The new camera line will include 4K video outputs, NDI connectivity, and built-in auto-tracking functionality. PTZOptics Gen 2 cameras will be made available while supplies last. Gen 2 PTZOptics cameras can gain auto-tracking capabilities with the use of the free PTZOptics CMP software.
