The MONSTRO 8K VV SENSOR upgrade for WEAPON CF increases the shooting potential of your WEAPON BRAIN and upgrades your camera to WEAPON 8K VV. The MONSTRO 8K VV sensor enables you to shoot motion and stills in 8K 2.4:1 at up to 75 frames per second (fps), or 8K Full Format at 60 fps with a sensor size of 40.96 mm x 21.60 mm.
At full 8K resolution, the MONSTRO sensor captures 35.4 Megapixel motion and stills. An evolutionary step beyond previous 8K sensors, the MONSTRO sensor has improved overall image quality including dynamic range and shadow detail, and delivers the most advanced VFX solution—with unmatched creative flexibility, in-camera IPP2, with unreal blazing fast 300 MB/s data rates, and simultaneous REDCODE and 4K Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR recording.
