Location: Santa Clara CA US

Job Summary

We are a small, successful videography & video production company in the South Bay. We work with corporations, non-profits, startups and various Silicon Valley VIPs. We mainly do promotional videos and live events. Employees must also be comfortable in more serious settings, as we may also shoot depositions and memorial services. We are looking to add an additional Shooter/Editor to join our small team. We are looking for someone that’s dedicated, passionate, hard-working, has great attention to detail, and a great attitude! Customer service is our number one principle, so the ability to work with and address the needs of all types of customers is key. The ability to learn and adapt quickly is also important, as well as problem solving skills.

This is a really great opportunity for someone just out of school looking to get their foot in the door in this very difficult and highly competitive industry – or someone who has been freelancing for a while and is interested in being part of a really great team with consistent work. Spiral Moon Media is a growing company in a growing field, so there will be plenty of chances for advancement within the company and eventually, leadership opportunities.

This job will start as a part time position at $22/hr. Hours will depend on the number of projects occurring. A qualified part time employee who is shown to be value added to the company will eventually be offered a full time position with the pay of $3,000/month (possibly more if the employee has more qualifications/experience) + a percentage from any projects/clients that you bring in.

No need for you to bring in/use your own gear – we have all the necessary equipment for our productions. The major majority of our shoots involve a crew of 2-3 people. Although we do bigger productions from time to time that involve around 10 or more people. We shoot with Canon cameras and edit with Premier (Adobe Creative Cloud) on Mac Pros (planning to switch to Windows based systems).

Only applicants who can appear for an in-person interview will be considered. If you are not near Santa Clara, CA, please do not apply.
