SixTwentySix Appoints Jonny Edwards as Executive Producer and Head of Production

LA-headquartered creative studio SixTwentySix has announced the appointment of Jonny Edwards as its Head of Production and Executive Producer. Edwards, a veteran of the creative industry with over 15 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to elevate SixTwentySix’s creative capabilities and content offerings. His arrival coincides with SixTwentySix’s ongoing, record growth as a creative studio.

Edwards joins SixTwentySix following a distinguished career, including a nearly three year tenure as Director of Production at branding agency Herman-Scheer and nine years as Executive Producer at 72andSunny + Hecho Studios. His career path also includes four years as an Associate Producer at RSA Films/Ridley Scott Creative Group, two years of freelancing in the commercial sector, and involvement in reality television. Edwards has worked with some of the most renowned directors in the industry and has delivered exceptional work for global heavyweight brands.  Drawing from his extensive experience in agencies and studios, Edwards will play a pivotal role in shaping SixTwentySix’s overarching strategy across its business divisions amid its growth and will report directly to SixTwentySix co-founders Jake Krask and Austin Barbera.

Throughout his career, Edwards has worked with renowned talents such as Jake Scott, Paul Feig, DJ Caruso, and RJ Cutler to name only a few, contributing to a portfolio that boasts a roster of prestigious work for clients that include Google, Starbucks, Coors Light, Smirnoff, Best Buy, Carl’s Jr., Activision, Adobe, amongst others. His unique experiences in working on a wide range of projects, from big-budget commercials to low-budget social productions, has honed his ability to deliver exceptional value and client satisfaction.

With his rich tapestry of production experience and specialized mastery in having built out robust divisions servicing millions of dollars in projects for companies and their clients across each phase of his career, Edward’s goal will be in creating content models for SixTwentySix that are modern and innovative, sophisticated enough to keep up with the ever-changing terrain of content creation. His extensive expertise in bridging the gap between marketing and entertainment, cultivating newfangled content ecosystems, and successfully collaborating with global giants uniquely positions him to drive SixTwentySix’s continued growth and success in the years to come. Off the bat, he will be focused on creating a 360-degree content ecosystem that can successfully target every single vertical in the most innovative ways possible, applying his intel to the foundation that SixTwentySix co-founders Barbera and Krask have built at the company.
