Solène Zavagno appointed as general manager of Gravity Media in France

Gravity Media, the leading global provider of complex live broadcast facilities and production services to content owners, creators and distributors, has appointed Solène Zavagno as General Manager of its business in France.

Solène is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Paris office, including coordination of resources, leadership of staff and the management & growth existing & new clients. She also acts as the primary point of contact in France for other parts of Gravity Media, ensuring that clients always receive the full force of Gravity.

Solène joined Gravity Media (as Gearhouse Broadcast) in 2017 as a Production Manager before being promoted to Head of Production & Operations in 2019. In this role she looked after the project management team at Gravity Media in France, overseeing the planning and delivery of large-scale contracts including multi-sports events with OBS and ISB. Solène ensured that projects ran smoothly at a technical, logistical and crewing level. She was also involved in generating new commercial opportunities, including facilities contracts for the Federation Française de Tennis, F1H2O racing, eSports and multi-sports events with OBS and ISB.

Before joining Gravity Media, Solène specialised in aerial and special cameras. She worked worldwide in advertising and feature film production, as well as on first-class sport events such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games, World/European athletics championships, Swimming World Championships, Six Nations rugby and French Open tennis.
