Suitcase TV continues expansion with appointment of former KPMG auditor and opening of new premises

Suitcase TV, a leading broadcast technology developer, has continued to boost its numbers with the appointment of a new financial controller. Fiona Watt, who has worked for more than a decade in audit and assurance, most recently at KPMG, comes to Suitcase TV with a wealth of experience and knowledge. She will be fully responsible for the company’s financial activities and new accounts procedures as it continues to grow.

“This is a really exciting time to join Suitcase TV as the company is growing fast. My first priority is to make the important transition from small, owner-managed business to one that is much larger in scope,” explains Watt. “The company is very well respected and has huge potential with new product development that will make a big impact over the next 12 months.”

Experienced in evaluating companies of varying sizes across a range of different industries, Watt will use her expertise to analyse areas of the business that do and don’t work and will put procedures in place that enable the company to achieve its aims.

To accommodate its recent growth, Suitcase TV has expanded its premises in Ipswich, UK. The company has opened the doors to a new facility that provides dedicated space for support and QA as well as additional office space. The company’s Silent Street offices in the centre of Ipswich will remain as its HQ.

Fraser Jardine, Commercial Director, Suitcase TV adds, “We’re delighted to welcome Fiona to the team. As the company grows, we need to continue to raise working capital and increase turnover through more efficient use of resources. I am in no doubt that Fiona is fully equipped to take us through this exciting period of growth and beyond.”Fiona Watt
