Aspera faspex helps Sundance manage 12,500 video submission from filmmakers all over the world
ARMONK, NY – February 9, 2015: IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that the Sundance Institute selected Aspera as an official partner of the Sundance Film Festival. Sundance chose Aspera faspexTM to enable independent filmmakers from all over the world to submit their work quickly, efficiently and securely for this year’s festival, which took place on January 22 – February 1 in Park City, Utah.
With over 50,000 attendees, the Sundance Film Festival is the world’s largest and most widely recognized independent film festival. It receives some 12,500 feature films and shorts from 40 countries in multiple formats. Sundance chose Aspera faspex to manage the huge volume of submissions, allowing the organizers to operate effectively under tight deadlines and collaborate with independent filmmakers across the globe.
