Position: Technical Director of Systems Engineering

We are looking for a technical leader who thrives in a high-energy and dynamic company. Primary responsibilities will include:
Definition of features and technical requirements
RF Systems architecture design and RF line-up analysis
Strong, consistent communication with marketing and customer on evolving product requirements
Project lead for the system engineering team to drive the design, implementation, and debugging of complex verification & validation (V&V) FPGA platforms emulating all functions of a design and post-silicon V&V, troubleshooting and debug
Alpha-customer support, and the development of marketing and applications collateral
Required Skills
This versatile and dynamic team incorporates key individuals with a diverse range of experience which includes two or more of the following areas of expertise:
RF Systems modeling, architecture line-up, and analysis
Wireless or wire line connectivity protocols, standards and system implementation including interoperability and compliance testing
Strong knowledge of Microwave backhaul broadcast protocols and standards
Strong knowledge of Microwave theory, DSP, and communication theory
RF/analog/mixed-signal/digital hardware board design, development, and debug
Strong hands on experience on RF equipment for bench testing characterization and test automation
System integration of hardware, firmware, and embedded systems development
Tier 1 customer support and new product introduction experience
MSEE with 12 years of semiconductor hardware development experience or PhD with 7 years of experience
