April 7, 2016 (Phoenix, Ariz.) – Tether Tools® new Case Relay Camera Power System introduces the first uninterruptible power system that consistently powers cameras via any common USB 5V power pack or wall power. This technology provides, for the first time ever, a hot swappable, infinite power source for most DSLR and Mirrorless cameras on the market today.

Case Relay meets the demands of filmmakers and photographers for whom consistent camera uptime is critical. Stopping video or photo production to remove a camera from a stand to change batteries is a challenge of the past. Case Relay connects directly to any USB 5V battery, commonly used to charge phones and tablets. Relay’s holds a secondary 1,200 mAh internal charge allowing you to swap out power sources mid-shoot and maintain 100% uptime.

Case Relay is compatible with many Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Panasonic and BlackMagic Pocket cameras and can be powered by any 2.1+amp 5V USB power bank and/or USB Wall Adapter. A compatible Relay Camera Coupler is required for the camera being powered with Case Relay.
