Pixit Media, leading provider of software-defined storage to the Media and Entertainment industry, today announced the expansion of its management team with appointment of Tim Cuthbertson as Managing Director of US Operations.
Cuthbertson brings 20 years’ experience working in Media and Entertainment to the company, including post-production on many Hollywood blockbusters, and a wealth of knowledge in workflow, pipeline and selling solutions into the North American market. Previously, he was head of Post-Production Business Development for Blackmagic Design (Resolve) and VP Sales of Fairlight (Audio Post). He joins Pixit Media from a business development role at ColorScene.
In this role, Cuthbertson will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and providing account management for the expanding Pixit Media’s customer base in North America, which includes a growing number of high-profile studios, broadcasters and award-winning creative organisations. He will also work closely with strategic technology providers and resellers to strengthen the Pixit Media partner ecosystem, making it easier for customers to benefit from the efficiencies of a PixStor environment.
