MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – TVU Networks, the global technology leader in live IP video transmission solutions, is offering its range of 4G and LTE wireless uplink equipment and services to broadcasters covering U.S. Presidential campaign rallies, debates and Election Day 2016. The dates and locations of the planned U.S. Presidential debates are as follows: September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York; October 9 at Washington University in St. Louis in St. Louis, MO; and October 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. The Vice Presidential debate will be on October 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Election Day is November 8.
In addition to comprehensive technical support, TVU will provide: equipment and accessories rentals, local cellular 4G and LTE datacards, and use of its scalable TVU Grid network for live video distribution. Customers can leverage the TVU Grid infrastructure as an optional way of backhauling live, HD video footage to anywhere in the world. Dedicated WiFi/Microwave Mesh bandwidth will be available from strategic locations in and around the hosting venues.
