University Broadcaster Implements Myers’ ProTrack to Gain Efficiency

PrintNorthampton, MA December 3, 2014 Myers, a leading provider of broadcast management software, today announced the implementation of their ProTrack software solution for JSU-TV.  JSU-TV, an affiliate of America One network, is owned by Jackson State University (JSU) in Jackson, Mississippi.  As a fully integrated component of the JSU media facilities’ infrastructure, ProTrack, will serve as the hub for managing and controlling all media management activities – creating a new level of workflow efficiency and expanded capabilities.

In gaining workflow efficiency, JSU will be able to reduce existing operational costs and take on additional responsibilities without having to add staff. “Our ProTrack system goes beyond core media management functionality, such as sales and traffic, to create a comprehensive workflow that delivers proficiency throughout the entire media facility,” said Crist Myers, CEO and president, Myers. “Our implementation at JSU is a great example of that whereby our system effectively reduces costs and increases revenue to ultimately improve the bottom-line – creating a quantifiable return on investment.”

Keith Collins, JSU-TV Station Manager, Jackson State University further commented, “After evaluating multiple providers’ systems, we are very pleased with the ProTrack broadcast management system and the new functionality it will provide us with, such as enhanced scheduling, reporting, and sales management in addition to improving our bottom-line.”
