Ventuz Shows IP-based Video Workflow at BirTV 2016

Ventuz Technology is using its presence at BirTV to demo the recently released high-quality video over IP workflow. In addition, interactive video walls for in-studio installations will be on display. Ventuz China will show Ventuz 5 in hall 3 on booth 3025.

With the first major update for Ventuz 5, German real-time software developer Ventuz Technology recently introduced a high-quality video over IP workflow that is suited for broadcast as well as event installations. By implementing the NDI protocol by NewTek, Ventuz is now able to easily handle high-quality video streams that are transmitted over an Ethernet network. At BirTV 2016 in Beijing, Ventuz China will take the opportunity to publicly show this and the many other new features for the first time.

“We are proud to announce that the newest version of Ventuz is now perfectly equipped for professional video over IP”, said Erik Beaumont, CEO of Ventuz Technology. “The NDI protocol is a holistic solution, since it offers maximum flexibility while minimizing the need for additional video hardware. From presentations to conferences and broadcast studios, this feature will significantly simplify our clients’ workflows.”

Another focus will be on on-air graphic solutions based on Ventuz Director, the playout and control tool of the Ventuz software suite. With the rise of viewer participation, social media integration will be an important topic as well, including a touch screen comment system installed directly on the booth.

Ventuz has been very active in the Chinese market during the last two years with installations at a number of networks, such as Shanghai SMG News Center, Henan Merged Media, Sichuan Broadcast Group, and Changsha Broadcast Center.

All new features will be demoed at the Ventuz China booth at BirTV in Beijing, which will take place August 24 to 26. The booth of Ventuz China can be found in hall 3, booth number 3025. Ventuz China will also be present on the booth of CSS Group in hall 8, booth number 8A02.
