About the Job

Position Objective:
To develop and execute prerecorded, live-streamed, and other virtual events to support PETA’s and its Affiliates’ fundraising, education, and outreach programs and activities.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• In consultation and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by PETA:
o Lead and coordinate the work of internal team(s) including the PETA Foundation Fundraising Department, the Audio/Visual team, and PETA’s Marketing, Communications, and Celebrity Liaison departments (and others as needed) to create and produce exciting, original content for PETA’s virtual and live-streamed events for members, supporters, and prospects.
o Oversee the selection of appropriate virtual platforms for each identified organization(s) and/or department(s) need
o Research and provide insight into cutting-edge technical features, techniques, and other industry developments in order to provide the most engaging and effective experience possible in line with each event’s goals
o Determine what, if any, external resources might be needed to meet the needs and objectives of each virtual event; manage those vendor/contractor relationships and related budgets.
o Ensure all virtual projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner and that each one is leveraged to the fullest extent across organization(s)
o Manage external relationships to maximize use of licensed platforms and features, including Zoom, Vimeo, Facebook Live, and other free and pay-for-view services as needed
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

• Five years of relevant professional experience
• Proven excellent ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships
• Proven excellent analytical skills and project management experience
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of animal rights issues
• Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to take initiative and follow-through
• Demonstrated capability to make sound judgements and work independently
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Support for PETA’s philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA’s positions on issues
• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
