Puerto Rico’s Leading Television Station and Creator of Locally Produced Content Brings in Change Management Expert for Major Operations Overhaul
New York, NY—April 7, 2016—Positive Flux, the leading provider of change management planning and execution services for media companies, today announced that it has guided client WAPA, the top broadcaster based in Puerto Rico, through a comprehensive project to completely reinvent the station’s in-house production operations. The project introduces modern, tapeless workflows and brings enhanced efficiency and productivity to all aspects of production at WAPA including its News, Entertainment Production, Promotions, Programming, Interactive and Social Media segments.
These workflow changes are significant for a broadcaster which is unique for the remarkable amount of high quality programming it produces in house. Nearly sixty-five percent of content distributed by the station across its over the air, local and U.S.-distributed cable channels, and DBS agreements is produced in WAPA’s Guaynabo facilities.
