WaterBear Network, the first-of-its kind impact streaming platform has today cemented its commitment to the US market with the launch of a US Advisory Council and the addition of David Evans Shaw as its first Council member.
With his extensive business experience, David Shaw will support WaterBear with networking around its core business areas, spanning content production, distribution and marketing to strategic partnerships and fundraising.
Industry veteran Shaw has very relevant and valuable experience through a career of far-reaching business building, impact investing, activism, and public service as Managing Partner of Black Point Group and CEO of IDEXX Laboratories. David produces short environmental impact films including Second Century Stewardship, and his board experience spans the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum, Nautilus Magazine, The Jackson Laboratory, American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Aspen High Seas Initiative, among many others.
