WIS Television, the #1 station and award-winning NBC affiliate in South Carolina’s capital city, is searching for its next Weekend Anchor/Reporter. Successful candidate must be a proven leader who is motivated, and passionate about storytelling. The ability to cultivate sources and produce enterprise stories is a must. This energetic candidate will be a strong live reporter and be driven by breaking news and deliver it with a sense of urgency. This opportunity is for a journalist who has a curious mind and is digitally driven. This is a rare opportunity to join a legacy station in a great company. Candidate must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and MVR check.

General Responsibilities (not limited to):

Position requires anchoring, live reporting, writing, videography and editing, as well as web and social media posting. The reporter will also be asked to shoot and capture visuals as needed and will engage in digital news publishing using the Gray Social News Desk.
