
Following successful launch at MIPCOM 2017 INSIGHT TV’s latest reality series will have viewers on the edge of their seats as brave competitors take on THRU
Amsterdam, Netherlands – 30th November 2017 – INSIGHT TV, one of the world’s largest UHD broadcasters and producer of native UHD HDR content covering action sports, entertainment, and lifestyle, is launching its eagerly anticipated reality show THRU on the 2nd December 2017 21:00 CET, on INSIGHT TV and INSIGHT.TV. The eight-part series, which was unveiled at last month’s MIPCOM event in Cannes, will see teams of intrepid competitors’ trek through highly challenging terrain following a straight line from point-A-to-point-B.
As the teams’ race from opposite directions they face difficult obstacles and physical challenges by trekking directly over, under, and through buildings, drop-offs, swamps and pools. The team that takes all obstacles and deviates least from the THRU route, wins.
“Our programmes are famous for pushing competitors to their absolute limit,” explains Arun Maljaars, INSIGHT TV’s Global Content Strategy Manager. “This show is no different. We’ve selected international social influencers as competitors for THRU, who will need to show huge physical and mental strength, facing their inner fears as they meet frightening obstacles to reach the finish line. The team that works best together with the least mistakes will be crowned the winners of THRU.
