Lola Strengthens Senior Leadership Team

BAFTA award-winning VFX studio Lola Post Production has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Annie Gordon as Executive Producer and Lizzie Hill as Senior Producer.

Annie will oversee all of Lola’s operations across its roster of premium Factual and Drama projects reporting to Lola’s founder and creative director Rob Harvey.

Annie brings to Lola her strong VFX production expertise gained over fifteen years working on high profile projects from The Hobbit Trilogy (MGM/ New Line Cinema) for Park Road/Weta in New Zealand, The Hunger Games Mockingjay (Lionsgate) and Ghosts (BBC) to creating new pipelines for virtual production and animation projects. Annie joins Lola from The Farm Post Production where she built their first VFX department Ghost VFX which she then led for four years with credits including The Outlaws (BBC/Amazon); Strangers (ITV), The Halcyon (Left Bank/ Sony) and Poldark (BBC). Annie’s career spans studios from Lexhag to MPC and The Mill.

Annie’s first hire is experienced Senior Producer Lizzie Hill who will work with her to oversee Lola’s production slate. Lizzie joins Lola from high end creative production company Saddington Baynes where she was Executive Producer – supervising a range of clients from American Honda to Estee Lauder.

Lola is currently in production on projects including Alexander The Great, a Netflix factual drama being produced by Lion Television/ Alexander Tailfeather; a comedy drama for AppleTV and two landmark Natural History factual shows for Netflix: Our Living World and Our Planet II.

Annie’s and Lizzie’s appointments add to a raft of recent hires including Head of CG Cesar Eiji Nunes and Lead Nuke Compositor Daniel Miller, as Lola builds on its most successful year to date in 2022, having completed work on the VFX BAFTA nominated Universe (BBC); Dangerous Liaisons (Starz/Lionsgate) and Dinosaurs: The Final Day with David Attenborough (BBC). Lola’s recent credits also include BAFTA winning work on Troy: Fall Of A City (BBC/Netflix) and two seasons of Britannia (Sky); One Strange Rock and Welcome To Earth (Nat Geo); Bad Sisters (AppleTV); The Watch (BBC); Giri/Haji (BBC).
