DHD to Demonstrate Latest-Generation Audio Production Systems at Norsk Lokalradioforbunds landskonferanse

Leipzig, Germany, February 18th, 2026: DHD’s complete range of digital audio mixers plus the latest-generation RM1 Pro ‘broadcast-from-anywhere’ unit will be promoted at the upcoming Lokalradioforbunds lanskonferanse in Norway. The event will be held from Thursday March 5th through Sunday March 8th at the Clarion Hotel near Oslo Airport. DHD will be represented at the parallel exhibition by distribution partner Soundware Norge.

“Announced at IBC 2025 and now fully deliverable, the RM1 Pro is a complete studio-quality audio production system housed in a compact desktop unit weighing only 1 kg,” comments Christoph Gottert, DHD’s international sales manager. “Based on the entry-level RM1, it comes with an extended toolset optimised for remote or onsite broadcast contribution, live news production, web radio and podcasting. The extra tools allow tight connectivity with DHD infrastructure located at the host broadcasting centre. Like the standard RM1, the RM1 Pro includes an automatic mix mode which can be used to balance incoming audio channels, conforming background audio to a presettable level and minimising distractions. A remote-faders option allows RM1 Pro channels to be controlled from another DHD system or vice versa. Our Soundware Norge colleagues will also be promoting the complete DHD audio mixer family which comprises the modular RX2, compact SX2, ultra-compact DX2 and multitouch TX2 control consoles plus a choice of signal processors, interfaces and software.”

Designed for use in on-air radio and television studios, master control rooms and OB vehicles, the RX2 broadcast mixing console scales easily from small production units with 6 or 12 faders to large consoles with up to 96 faders. Each module has a dedicated 10.1-inch colour touchscreen which gives access to main control and channel settings, metering and system snapshots. Assignable hardware buttons are provided in the central section, plus adaptive labels in a separate 7-inch vertical touch display. The adaptive labels allow fast access to functions such as monitoring and talkback.

The SX2 is an aggressively priced 6 to 16 fader compact modular broadcast mixer for on-air studios, audio workstations and smaller OB vans. The central module (52-5614) has 4 faders plus a section for monitoring, talkback, and central controls. The fader modules (52-5620) feature 6 professional-grade 100 mm motorised faders with dust-protection. Each module can be chained with others to create a standalone mixing desk. Integral display screens allow operators to check connectivity and signal levels. SX2 features can be extended simply by adding optional license codes to the DSP core, allowing extra faders, busses and clean feeds.

DHD’s DX2 is a fully featured desktop audio mixing system designed for use wherever space is at a premium. Its user interface is simplified to focus on the facilities needed in a newsroom desk, professional podcast studio or video-editing booth. The DX2 offers the same assistive mixing functions as other DHD consoles, such as automatic mixing and auto level gain. A 3.5 mm jack on the rear doubles as an input and output, allowing a smartphone to be connected quickly and easily for live telephone interviews. The DX2 works with all current DHD cores running version 10 firmware.

The TX2 is an ultra-compact touchscreen mixer designed for daily operation in newsrooms, talk studios, OB trucks and edit suites. It can be deployed standalone or to expand any DHD system. The TX2’s forward-sloping panel includes a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display, 2 assignable potentiometers and 6 silent multicolour hardware buttons, allowing fully professional audio mixing. The TX2 connects to a core processor or concentrator along a single network cable which also carries all audio and control signals, plus power, up to 100 metres. The mixing panel can be integrated with XS3, XC3 or XD3 cores in isolation or as part of a larger mixing system.

DHD audio GmbH develops and produces digital audio studio equipment and systems for professional applications in broadcast control rooms, DJ-operated radio studios, OB trucks, SNG vans, ingest stations and edit suites. DHD also produces routing and talkback matrices, audio-over-IP interfaces, and supporting software. DHD devices can be operated directly or under IP networked control. Designed and manufactured in Germany, DHD products are used successfully by broadcasters around the globe.
