Simian Launches iPhone App “Simian Go!”

In today’s fast moving world of reel marketing and media sharing, how would an app on your iPhone sound, if it allowed its users to upload media, build playlists, and send reel play-outs to clients within seconds?  Now, wouldn’t that be an awesome business tool! This past October 2013, Simian’s co-founder Brian Atton was  recognized at the 4th Annual Createasphere’s Digital Asset Management Conference and Exhibition’s  “Dammy Awards” for Best Example of Asset & Media Repurposing (the DAMMYs are the premier award in the digital asset management industry, recognizing pioneering individuals and organizations for outstanding achievement over the past 12 months). Well, with the latest release of Simian Go! It’s comes with no surprise that with the creative workflow that Simian provides, that it should be heralded.  User’s have had all of these features mentioned below, but now with the added benefits of having this power on the go!

With the Simian collection, the ease of data management was simplified to a drag and drop interface for quickly building your workspace and project playlist.  The single click file sharing feature was extremely impressive, in that, when setting your permissions,  all your team members will receive posted  review notifications, as well as, the ability to track a project from beginning to end with all phases “in-between” covered.  Plus, no file type is a limitation for browser-based playout! Simian will playback all types of file formats from MP3, MP4, WMV, and MOV. The all in one Simian branding solution is remarkable in the sense that you can create your own project/standalone website with customizable themes that do not require coding or 3rd party plug-ins, really just makes this product so versatile.

The protection of data from cloud to browser is 256 bit secure socket layering encryption with secure log-in, software firewall, and user controlled, role-based permission levels. Simian maintains strict data center security (SOC 1 (SSAE 16) Type II – Compliant) and follows strict adherence to MPAA standards. Simian supports their clients 24/7 – 365 making it a true reality that it is possible to integrate onto a single platform standard which will supply your online marketing, production, and content management needs all under a single umbrella of dedicated services.

Some recent web based testimonials from the Simian website review:  “Simian’s development team has created a first rate product that the production community can rely on. Superb customer service and quick on enhancements, Simian takes their client’s needs seriously.”  – Roger Zorovich, Head of Production (Moxie Pictures) and “Simian allows us to quickly send out reels, manage on-going projects, and create beautiful client presentations with just a few clicks. Maintaining the sheer amount of elements we work with on a daily basis takes an incredibly streamlined and intuitive workflow tool. No other solution delivers quality and ease like Simian”  – Mike R., Development Producer (Prettybird) are a few of the many others that are “singing” Simian praises.
