Strengthening Appear’s North America team with a new Vice President of Business Development
Appear ASA (Appear, OSE: APR), a global leader in live production technology, today announced the appointment of Mike Burk in a newly created role as Vice President, Business Development for North America. This is a significant milestone for Appear as it continues to invest in growth, following strong financial performance and its successful IPO in November 2025.
Burk joins Appear with more than two decades of experience in broadcast and live production, having most recently led LTN Global’s production and managed services business. Prior to this, Mike founded and served as the President of DTAGS, which was acquired by LTN in 2020. Mike’s expertise includes the development of complex production and transmission solutions for many of the world’s highest-profile events.

Mike will lead strategic growth initiatives in North America, accelerate go-to-market strategies, and enhance customer engagement as Appear meets the growing demand for its solutions across the market.

A key focus for Mike will be partnering closely with the Sales team to ensure Appear continues to address the evolving long-term production and transmission needs of its customers. He will lead engagement with a broad range of service providers, unlock new market segments, and develop additional service offerings, while also playing an active role in advancing Appear’s Customer Success Programs.
He also plans to grow Appear’s customer engagement initiatives, including the continuous efforts for Appear’s Customer Councils, that give clients a voice in product development and foster knowledge-sharing around workflow innovation.
