PlayBox Neo helps AIS PLAY kick-off premier football content direct to fans
PlayBox Neo has provided MIMO Tech with a brand-new major installation to extend its playout capabilities of Streaming Platform – “AIS PLAY” – to deliver Thai League football.
MIMO Tech Co. Ltd is a subsidiary member of AIS (Advanced Info Service Public Co., Ltd.), and a key IT operator for AIS services which features Thailand’s leading video streaming and sports content providers.
PlayBox Neo has now doubled the AIS network’s capacity from three to six channels, transmitted in high definition via streaming platform AIS PLAY on STB, Internet or smart phone.
Based at Bangkok headquarters, the sale is comprised of six PlayBox Neo Channel-in-a-Box systems for playout and CG with automation, along with a MultiPlayout Manager.
This significant new investment brings Thai football directly to local fans, allowing them to follow the excitement of game highlights and full matches through various media such as tablets, smart phones, Smart TVs, over streaming platform AIS PLAY. This dynamic move strengthens AIS’s role as a central “Sports & Entertainment” hub, now covering world-class sports including the NBA, NFL, PGA, LPGA, DP World Tour, ATP and other global sports tournaments.
