InSync Unveils Advanced Video Processing and Frame Rate Conversion Solutions at NAB 2026

April 9, 2026

InSync Technology, the leading provider of premium video conversion solutions, will showcase a suite of new and enhanced technologies at NAB 2026, designed to address the growing complexity of media workflows.

As broadcasters continue to balance increasing format diversity and rising viewer expectations, the need for high-quality and low-latency video conversion has become critical. At NAB 2026, InSync will unveil hardware and software-defined deployment options that reduce cost, power consumption, and workflow complexity across live production, contribution, and distribution environments.

OG-ALC Dual Channel Video Processing Range

The new OG-ALC range (OG-ALC20 and OG-ALC10) delivers high-quality linear frame rate conversion and advanced video processing within a compact openGear form factor. Designed for real-time production, the solution offers ultra-low latency performance at ~60ms or less, and features a next-generation adaptive de-interlacer that enhances image sharpness while minimising artefacts.

Supporting both SDI and ST 2110 IP workflows (OG-ALC20) as well as SDI-only environments (OG-ALC10), the range enables seamless integration across hybrid infrastructures. With two independent processing channels per card and up to 20 channels in a 2RU openGear chassis, the platform significantly reduces rack space, power consumption, and cost per channel. A comprehensive suite of video and audio processing tools, alongside flexible control options, ensures efficient operation across complex multi-format workflows.

OG-MCC20 Motion Compensated Frame Rate Converter Module

The OG-MCC20 delivers FrameFormer® motion-compensated frame rate conversion across SDI, IP, and hybrid environments within a single openGear module. Supporting HD/3G-SDI and ST 2110 10/25GbE IP workflows, it offers exceptional flexibility for broadcast infrastructures. The module combines ultra-low latency with advanced motion-compensated processing to ensure smooth, high-quality handling of fast-motion content such as live sports. Its high-density design supports up to ten channels within a 2RU chassis, reducing operational costs and power consumption. Integrated video and audio processing, HDR/SDR support, and full compliance with key IP standards ensure robust deployment.

MCC-UHD Dual-Mode UHD/HD Converter

The upgraded MCC-UHD provides a flexible and future-proof path from HD to UHD production. Its dual-mode architecture allows operation as either a single-channel UHD processor or dual-channel HD system, enabling broadcasters to optimise infrastructure utilisation and cost efficiency. Built on InSync’s FrameFormer® motion compensated algorithms to deliver high-quality frame rate conversion between 23Hz and 60Hz rates, it ensures smooth handling of high-motion content such as live sports and international programme exchange feeds. With support for both SDI and IP workflows, alongside integrated HDR/SDR processing and comprehensive signal handling capabilities, it is designed to meet the evolving requirements of fast-paced production.

FrameFormer® SDK Packages

InSync is also introducing new FrameFormer® Packages at NAB, extending its industry-leading motion-compensated frame rate conversion technology into a flexible SDK offering. Designed for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployments, the CPU-based solution enables scalable, cost-efficient processing without specialised hardware. The new Performance and Base packages allow users to tailor processing capability to specific workflow requirements, balancing quality, efficiency, and cost across a wide range of applications.

James Taylor, CEO, InSync, commented: “Media workflows need flexible video conversion solutions that optimise both performance and operational efficiency. InSync’s latest innovations are engineered to meet these challenges. At NAB 2026, our new product releases will deliver ultra-low latency and high-density processing, alongside our advanced motion-compensated conversion, which has become a benchmark for industry excellence.”
