Matthews, introduces their first aluminum grid clamp collection, engineered for the rigging needs of film, television and live production. Combining light weight benefits with Matthews trademark ruggedness, Aluminum Grid Clamps help make rigging faster and logistics easier without compromising performance.

The collection includes the 3/8″-16 Aluminum Grid Clamp, the Right Angle Aluminum Grid Clamp, a Swivel Aluminum Grid Clamp and the Baby Pin Aluminum Grid Clamp.

Whether hanging fixtures or configuring complex pipe grids, Matthews black anodized aluminum grid clamps are built to deliver professional-grade strength for touring production or permanent installations. For maximum convenience each features wingnut mounting for secure installation and fit pipes with outer diameters ranging from 1.5″ (32mm) to 2″ (50mm). To assure maximum safety and ruggedness all Matthews Aluminum Grid Clamps are both CE Certified and have received TÜV certification, as well. All are compatible with the Patriot Wrench.

The 3/8″-16 Aluminum Grid Clamp is ideal for hanging par cans and similar fixtures. It weighs just 1.08 lbs./.49 kg and supports 660-lbs./300 kg at a size of: 3.71″ x 1.2″ x 4.82″ (9.4 x 3.0 x 12.2 cm).

The Right Angle Aluminum Grid Clamp is ready to join two pipes at 90 degrees when building grids or pipe structures, with a 1100-lbs./500 kg safe working load. It measures 3.71″ x 3.71″ x 8.03″ (9.4 x 9.4 x 20.4 cm).

The Swivel Aluminum Grid Clamp is a 2.09 lbs./0.95 kg problem-solver that adjusts to accommodate varying angles in pipe grid configurations while securely supporting 1100-lbs./500 kg and measuring 3.71″ x 2″ x 8.04″ (9.4 x 5.1 x 20.4 cm).

The Baby Pin Aluminum Grid Clamp is built to stand up to constant use. This versatile amalgamation features a 5/8″ solid steel Baby Pin that’s tapped with industry-standard 1/4″-20 female threads. The Clamp size is 3.17″ x 1.2″ x 7.21″ (8.1 x 3.0 x 18.3 cm) and the combined weight is 1.38- lbs./0.63 kg.
