The Washington Post’s Arc Publishing announced it has signed with broadcaster Graham Media Group, a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Company, giving its stations access to Arc’s industry-leading video content management system. This is Arc’s second U.S. broadcast client in as many months, following the launch of Raycom Media this past December 2018. In addition to powering all of Raycom’s sites in less than six months, Arc launched iOS and Android apps for the same 40 stations in the same time frame.

With affiliates in Houston, Detroit, Roanoke, San Antonio, Orlando and Jacksonville, Graham Media will use Arc’s video platform technology to manage broadcast content for digital distribution. Featuring an automated workflow that enables journalists to quickly and efficiently cut and publish live video to the web, mobile, social media and other channels as well as publish breaking news video during a broadcast to these cloud-based system platforms. Strong multisite capabilities provide even greater efficiency, which allows for more seamless coordination across newsrooms and effortless content sharing between markets.
